I draw, then erase, and draw again.
What felt right yesterday becomes hesitation today.

Scribbles in a notebook,
sketches on a screen,
all return to nothing.

In the ache of constant revision,
time does not pause—
it has already moved ahead.

The more I resolve not to be swept away by algorithms,
the deeper they hide,
as if inviting me into a game of hide-and-seek.

I pick up the brush again.
For the heart that does not extinguish, even in uncertainty—
quietly, yet never willing to let go,
for an old dream, like a hidden jewel that has never lost its light,
I continue.

The very first place I visited after arriving in Denmark.

Encountering a beloved work in a different city at just the right moment felt strangely like fate.

It was a chance to see how the work breathes within a physical space once it moves beyond the small screen.
Knowing that the artist I love exists and that I can see their work up close.
There is also a gallery that makes such an encounter possible.

덴마크에 도착하자마자 가장 먼저 찾은 곳

애정하던 작품을 다른 도시에서 때마침 만나게 된 일은 묘하게도 운명처럼 느껴진다.
 작업이 작은 화면을 넘어 공간과 어떻게 호흡하는지 직접 느낄 수 있는 경험.
좋아하는 작가가 동시대에 살고 있다는 것과, 그 작품을 가까이에서 볼 수 있다는 것. 그리고 그 만남을 가능하게 하는 갤러리가 있다는 것.
 그 순간은 생각보다 오래, 조용히 마음속에 남는다.

Denmark, Copenhagen 2.28–3.1 2026 @finderskeepersdk

A market as beautiful as the city of Copenhagen itself. I’m grateful to have been part of its final days here.

It will continue one last time in another Danish city, AARHUS, on April 11–12. As there are no plans to reopen it for the time being, I warmly recommend a visit to those of you in Denmark.

Thank you to everyone who showed interest in my work and shared thoughtful conversations during the market. Each time I meet kind people along the path of continuing to paint what I love, I leave with renewed strength and quiet encouragement.

Now I return to the studio to focus on new works, and I look forward to sharing them with you.

그림이 매일 즐거웠고 새싹이 예뻤던 피아노를 치고, 눈과 놀던 꼬마는 꼬박 하루를 날아 지구 반대편의 겨울에 닿았다.

피아노 치는 법은 잊었지만
좋아하는 음악을 찾아 듣고 새싹을 예뻐하고 그림을 그리는 일은 여전히 즐겁다.

햇살이 드문 지구 반대편의 겨울, 눈은 대신 빛이 되어 조용히 이곳을 밝힌다.

Painting was a daily joy, and tender shoots were beautiful. The little child who played the piano and played in the snow flew for a whole day to arrive at winter on the other side of the earth.

She has forgotten how to play the piano, yet she still seeks out the music she loves, still finds beauty in young sprouts, and still finds joy in painting.

In the winter on the other side of the earth, where sunlight is scarce,
the snow becomes light instead,
quietly illuminating this place.

around 200 creators will gather at Øksnehallen,
presenting works shaped by their own perspectives and hands.
Among them, my paintings will quietly take their place,
waiting for a meaningful encounter.

Across the sea, on the other side of a picture-like land,

There’s something truly special about that moment when art makes someone stop in their tracks.
There’s something so endearing about seeing people walk away smiling with my painting in their hands.

Being able to casually spend a day like a picnic, chatting about art is such a lovely thing.

The people in Berlin showed such heartfelt interest in the paintings.
May the pieces that have traveled across the sea live on in new lives, creating new memories. 🤍

There were so many beautiful corners of the city that no small frame or short video could ever capture.
On the way home, a line from the book I was reading struck me—it felt just like my own heart describing the city.
Berlin, you filled my days there with warm memories. 🫶🏻

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and chatted with me. I’m so grateful to @kunsthand_berlin for giving me the opportunity to be part of such a beautiful place.🌹

바다 건너 그림 같은 곳 저편에서

가던 길을 멈추고 바라보는 그 느낌이 좋다.
그림을 손에 쥐고 들뜬 표정으로 뒤돌아 떠나는 모습 너무 사랑스러워.
소풍 가듯이 나와 무겁지 않게 그림에 대해 얘기할수 있는것도 아주 멋진 일인걸.

그림에 정말 많은 관심을 보여준 베를린 사람들.
바다 건너 떠나간 그림들이 또 다른 삶 속에서 새로운 기억으로 남기를. 🤍

작은 프레임과 짧은 비디오에 다 담을 수 없었던 도시 구석구석.
돌아오는 길에 읽던 책에서 내 마음 같던 구절이 튀어나왔다.

Being able to casually spend a day like a picnic, chatting about art is such a lovely thing.

The people in Berlin showed such heartfelt interest in the paintings.
May the pieces that have traveled across the sea live on in new lives, creating new memories. 🤍

There were so many beautiful corners of the city that no small frame or short video could ever capture.
On the way home, a line from the book I was reading struck me—it felt just like my own heart describing the city.
Berlin, you filled my days there with warm memories. 🫶🏻

바다 건너 그림 같은 곳 저편에서

가던 길을 멈추고 바라보는 그 느낌이 좋다.
그림을 손에 쥐고 들뜬 표정으로 뒤돌아 떠나는 모습 너무 사랑스러워.
소풍 가듯이 나와 무겁지 않게 그림에 대해 얘기할수 있는것도 아주 멋진 일인걸.

그림에 정말 많은 관심을 보여준 베를린 사람들.
바다 건너 떠나간 그림들이 또 다른 삶 속에서 새로운 기억으로 남기를. 🤍

작은 프레임과 짧은 비디오에 다 담을 수 없었던 도시 구석구석.
돌아오는 길에 읽던 책에서 내 마음 같던 구절이 튀어나왔다.
지낸동안 따뜻한 기억만 한가득 남겨준 베를린. 🫶🏻

벌걸음을 멈추고 이야기 나눌 수 있었던 모든 분들 감사합니다.

Although my room got messy while preparing for Konstrundan, I’m grateful for May. I met many kind people, looked up at the sky, walked in the forest and even in the chaos, the perilla leaves grew well.

Även om rummet blev stökigt under förberedelserna inför Konstrundan är jag tacksam för maj. Jag träffade många fina människor, såg upp mot himlen, promenerade i skogen och mitt i all röra växte perillabladen ändå bra.

Konstrundan 준비로 방은 어지러워지고 있지만
좋은 사람을 많이 만나고 정신없던 와중에도
하늘도 보고 숲도 볼 수 있었던 감사한 5월
+ 올해도 잘 자라주는 깻잎
